Thursday’s forecast – patchy rain but drier with sunshine later.

Good evening Western Isles what a mixed day with light rain and drizzle across the Uists and Barra. Sunshine and cloud across Lewis and most of Harris. Mist and low cloud now across large parts of the island with light rain. Winds under. 20 mph and a top temp of 16C

The rest of this evening and overnight – We are going to see further spells of mainly light rain and drizzle. Mist and fog patches with low cloud. Cloud dominate. Some clear spells. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Morning – Overcast with further spells of mainly light rain, the odd heavier spot of rain cannot be ruled out. Some sunshine by late morning. Some mist and low cloud with mist and fog patches earlier on but these should clear. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Afternoon and evening – We are going to see plenty of sunshine. Prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. It will feel warm the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 0 to 25 mph.

Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 11C to 17C
