Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing rain move across the Western Isles. It is more across the entire islands. This rain is heavy in places. Winds are gusting 30 mph but for most under 20 mph.

This evening and overnight – Further heavy rain this evening and eventually clearing away overnight. We are going to see an overcast night with further spells of rain. Mist and low cloud with some fog patches at times. Winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Overcast with a few scattered showers. Mainly light. Some mist low cloud and fog patches to start the day. Becoming drier and brighter as the afternoon goes on. A mixture of sunshine and cloud with a few scattered showers. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Evening – Mainly fine and dry with plenty of cloud. Some sunshine with a few occasional scattered showers. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West and temps of 11C to 17C
