On this Sunday morning, we are seeing a band of heavy rain exiting across the islands. In its wake, we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and showers. These heavy in places. winds have been gusting 30 mph across the Uists and Barra.

Pollen forecast for today is low.

Today – A few slight changes with today’s forecast. We are going to see more in the way of showers. These heavy at times. Maybe with the odd rumble of thunder mixed in. These showers are going to merge into some longer spells of rain at times into the late afternoon and evening. Winds are also forecast to be a tad stronger as well. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph possible for the Uists and Barra. Increasing as the day goes on. Temps of 9C to 17C

Monday – Sunshine and showers. The winds will drop for a time in the middle of the day before increasing again in the evening gusting 30 mph. Becoming drier and brighter later.

Tuesday – A mainly dry day with some light showers. However brisk wings gusting 40 mph.

Wednesday – dry and breezy.
