On this Monday morning, we are seeing rain across Barra that is heavy at times. Rain across Lewis and Harris with drier conditions for most of the Uists. Mainly overcast with some sunny spells. Overnight winds gusted to 43 mph. For most now under 30 mph.
Pollen forecast for today is low.
Today – A slow moving band of rain will move across Harris and Lewis gradually weakening as it moves across the Uists and Barra. Behind we are going to see showery conditions. A mixture of sunshine and cloud today. The cloud is mainly going to dominate. Hazy sunshine is expected. Winds of 10 to 40 mph a brief middle of the day lull before increasing again as we go into the evening. Temps 9 to 16C
Tuesday – A fairly windy summers day with winds gusting 40 mph throughout and showery conditions merging into some longer spells of rain at times.
Wednesday – dry and breezy and fairly overcast day.
Thursday – Overcast day with some showers and breezy.
