Good evening Western isles on this Monday evening we are seeing light rain and drizzle across parts of the island. Some dry conditions and plenty of cloud. Winds gusting 40 mph.
Overnight – We are going to see an overcast night with further spells of light rain and drizzle. Some showers at times. Some clear skies. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Showers will be on and off through the day. These will at times be heavy but most will be light. Some decent spells of sunshine in the breaks in the cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
Evening – As the evening goes on the showers will become more scattered. A few of them heavy at times and becoming increasingly confined to Lewis. We should see some decent and prolonged evening sunshine. However, there will still be a lot of cloud around. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
