On this Tuesday morning, we are seeing rain move across the Western Isles. This is heavy in places. Not everywhere is seeing rain and the cloud is dominating. Winds are gusting 34 mph. The overnight low was 11C

Today – We will see spells of rain which will be heavy and at times across the Uists and Barra heavy. We are going to see winds gusting 40 mph possibly reaching 50 mph for a time. In the breaks in the rain, it will be overcast. Later this evening the heaviest rain will clear away with mist and fog patches forming and drizzle at times.
Wednesday – Overcast mainly dry with a few scattered light showers. Brisk winds and feeling warm.
Thursday – Mainly fine and dry with some cloud and the occasional shower. Feeling mild.
Friday – Sunshine and showers with brisk winds and feeling mild.
long range – A long way off as yet but next weekend looks fantastic with blue skies and sunshine. Keeping my fingers crossed.
