Wednesday’s forecast – Rain and drizzle.

Good evening Western Isles and we managed to miss the very worst of the rainfall today with the highest total of 18 mm at Laxdale Harris. The highest gust of 44 mph. This evening mainly overcast with some rain and drizzle. Low cloud and mist the worst of the heaviest rain has now cleared away.

Overnight – We are going to see some mist and fog patches with low cloud. Some rain at times but mostly light with drizzle at times. Occasional clear spells but the cloud will dominate for most. Winds of 10 to. 35 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Spells of rain and drizzle. These will be mainly light but we could see the odd heavier spells. Some lingering mist and low cloud. Some sunny spells but for most, it will be overcast. Winds 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – A mainly fine and dry evening with some sunshine at times. Plenty of cloud with some scattered light rain but most it will be dry and fine. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.
Winds will be from the South West and temps of 11C to 18C
