Good afternoon and welcome to Fridays Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Friday evening we are seeing a mild end to the day. The rain has cleared for most. Some patchy rain and drizzle. increasing amounts of sunshine from the South. It is mainly overcast. Wind gusting 20 to 40 mph and max temp today of 18C.

Saturday – Across the Western Isles will see fine dry conditions. Plenty of sunshine and feeling warm with variable amounts of cloud. Winds will be mainly light and we are going to see temps up towards 20C
Across the UK mainly fine and dry hot again with plenty of sunshine and light winds. Risk of some thunderstorms developing later for the South East,
Sunday – Fine dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Light winds and mainly overcast. It should stay dry and temps up to 20C
Across the UK we are going to see another warm and at times hot day. A risk of showers and these will be thundery at times. Winds will be mainly light.
Monday – lots of uncertainty as yet risk of thunderstorms as the Met Office have issued a two day UK wide warning for Thunderstorms for Monday into Tuesday. More below.
