Sunday’s forecast

Good evening Western Isles. We have had seen a beautiful and much needed day of sunshine and light winds.

On this Saturday evening, we are seeing dry but mainly overcast conditions for much of Lewis and Harris. More sunshine for the Uists and Barra. Winds are under 15 mph.

Overnight – We are going to see a fine and dry night. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some mist and low cloud with a chance of some fog patches. Winds of 0 to 10 mph.

Sunday day – Fine dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. More cloud then we saw on Saturday. It will feel warm and we could see temps reaching 20C. Some decent and prolonged sunshine but the cloud will increase into the evening. Winds under 10 mph.

Winds will be variable and temps of 10C to 20C

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday –

Met Office thunderstorm warning for each day. Lots of uncertainty yet. Mainly dry and light winds. At this stage greatest risk of showers looks to be Monday evening into Tuesday night. I will keep you updated. Things should become clearer tomorrow.
