Sunday morning brief

Good morning Western Isles this is your morning brief

On this Sunday morning, we are seeing plenty of blue skies and sunshine. Quite a bit of cloud around. More than yesterday. Winds are under 5 mph and minimum temp of 8C overnight.

Across the Highlands and Eilean Siar Harris Quidnish had the lowest maximum temperature of 16.4C

Pollen forecast for today is Moderate

Today – A fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine. More cloud than on Saturday so some hazy sunshine at times. Winds will be light. The odd light shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be light. We could see temperatures reaching 20C

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – Lots of uncertainty right now with this forecast. Overall it’s going to be a period of mainly fine and settled conditions with light winds. However thundery showers are possible. The greatest risk for us appears to be Monday night into Tuesday this stage. But there is not universal consensus on this. I will go into more detail with my week ahead forecast this evening.

Have a great day.
