Week ahead forecast – A mainly settled week but could see some thunderstorms mid week

A reminder the Met Office has yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms for the islands for Tuesday and Wednesday. See the Met Office website or app for the very latest.
Tuesday – Overnight Monday into Tuesday we could see some thundery showers for a time. Tuesday itself mainly dry with sunshine and cloud warm but again risk of some thundery shower. Winds of under 10 mph and temps of 12 to 19C
Wednesday – We could see some thundery showers as we go into the early hours of Wednesday. But lots of uncertainty as yet. For most, it will be fine and dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Light winds under 10 mph. Temps of 12C to 18C
Thursday – a lot of uncertainty as yet and I know I am using that word a lot. But that is how the week is panning out. Rain is possible with stronger winds and the rain could be thundery. Temps of 12C to 15C
Friday – back to fine dry and settled conditions with plenty of sunshine and light winds. Winds under 10 mph. Temps of 10C to 18C
Long range – Another fine and settled weekend with light winds.
