Met Office thunderstorm warnings for the Western Isles – Monday 10th Aug update.

Good afternoon and welcome to the latest update on the thunderstorm risk for the Western Isles for Tuesday and Wednesday for the Western Isles.

Not a great deal has changed since my last update. As of 12:30 this Monday lunch time we still have a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms from the Met Office for the Western Isles for all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

At the moment Tuesday looks like being the day we are most likely to see showers and spells of rain at the moment. Looking at the most recent computer model updates. Its looking likely for the early morning and then again overnight into Wednesday. These could be thundery. Not all will see them and there is still quite a bit of uncertainty.

Some overnight rain Tuesday into Wednesday is possible and these could be thundery. At this stage Wednesday itself is looking mainly fine and dry with light winds. But again a lot of uncertainty at this stage. Things will become clearer tomorrow.
