Weather Watch 14th August 2020

Good afternoon and welcome to Fridays Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.

On this Friday afternoon we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds are light and its feeling warm in the sunshine. Some mist and low cloud which is proving stubborn to clear. Max temp of 16C winds under 10 mph.

Saturday – Across the islands. We will see wall to wall sunshine for most. Some stubborn cloud. Light winds and feeling warm. Temps in the mid to high teens.

For the UK further thundery showers for England and Wales. Drier and brighter with sunshine for the North West. Cloudy with mist and low cloud for the East Coast of England and Scotland.

Sunday – Across the islands and its fine and dry with plenty of sunshine light winds and variable amounts of cloud.

more of the same across the UK with thundery showers and outbreaks of rain for England and Wales. The best of the drier and sunny weather in Scotland.

Monday – Across the islands. Fine and dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Light winds a chance of some drizzle. Temps in the mid to high teens.

Across the UK and a showery day with outbreaks of rain which will be heavy for most. Winds will be light with some sunshine in between the showers.

Long range -Another fairly settled week is on the cards. We could see the odd hiccup along the way.
