Week ahead forecast – turning unsettled


Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one. its has been for most a beautiful weekend across the islands. Warm with plenty of sunshine. Low cloud and mist proved stubborn to shift in places at times.

Tuesday – Overcast with some sunny spells. Showers possible but mainly light rain and drizzle. Winds under 10 mph and temps of 12C to 18C

Wednesday – Mainly fine and dry overcast with some sunny spells and Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 11C to 18C

Thursday – Outbreaks of heavy rain and showers for the afternoon and evening. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 12C to 18C

Friday – Heavy rain possibly thundery with some sunshine in between. Stronger winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Temps of 11C to 16C

Long range – further spells of rain which will be heavy at times with some sunshine at times. Feeling cooler.
