Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud with some mainly light rain. Winds are under 20 mph and today’s high was 14.3C
Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. The cloud will dominate for most. Some light rain but again most places will be dry. It will be a chilly night in some parts of the islands. We could see lows down to 5C in Southern Lewis and Northern Harris. Warmer across Barra and South Uist. Winds of 0 to 30 mph.
Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times but for most the cloud will prove stubborn and slow to clear. The best of the sunshine is expected in the afternoon. A few showers are possible and these could be heavy but these will be well scattered. Winds of 0 to 30 mph.
Evening – A mainly overcast evening with some early evening sunshine cloud will thicken in. It will stay fairly dry but again a few scattered showers in places. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.
Winds will be from the North and temps of 5C to 14C
