On this Tuesday morning, we are rain moving across the islands. This is heavy in places. it is mainly overcast with brisk winds. The overnight low of 13.2C Winds are gusting 20 mph.
Today – We are going to see further outbreaks of rain which will be heavy at times. We are going to see largely overcast conditions with some sunshine at times. Winds will be brisk throughout the day. Some spells of heavier rain this evening. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph from the South and South West and temps of 12C to 17C
Wednesday – A windy day across the islands but again nothing too significant. Winds will be gusting 40 to 50 mph with the strongest being across the Uists and Barra. Here we could see the odd gust reaching 60 mph. We are going to see some very heavy rainfall. The heaviest being in the late morning and afternoon. In between, there will be some sunny spells.
Thursday – A day of sunshine and showers this will be accompanied by brisk winds. These heavy at times. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
Friday – Another day of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy at times. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
