Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are still seeing outbreaks of rain. Drizzle and some heavier rain with winds gusting 40 to 50 mph at times. Highest temp so far today is 15.7C
Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and showers. Some of these will be heavy at times. Some rain and drizzle. Winds will gust 30 to 40 mph. Strongest of the winds will be over the Uists and Barra.
Morning and afternoon – A mixed bag of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy at times. In between, we are going to see some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. It will stay windy. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph reaching 40 mph at times.
Evening – Further spells of showery rain which will be heavy at times. Some sunshine in the early evening and clear spells after sunset. However, there will be plenty of cloud. Winds will also increase again. Gusting 30 to 40 mph and for a time we could see winds gusting 50 mph during the late evening.
Winds will be from the West and South West and temps of 11C to 16C
