On this Friday morning, we are seeing another windy start to the day with winds gusting 40 mph. We are seeing some heavy and at times intense showers moving across the islands. We are seeing some decent and prolonged sunshine in between the showers with variable amount of cloud.
Today – A day of sunshine and showers these will be heavy at times. They could for a time merge into some longer spells of rain. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. Feeling warm. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Staying windy throughout. Winds will be from the West and South West and temps 9C to 15C but feeling cooler in the wind chill.
Saturday – Sunshine and showers again. Windy start but becoming lighter later. Drier for most into the evening but some rain for South Uist and Barra. Temps in the mid to high teens.
Sunday – Fine dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds will be light. It should be dry.
Monday – Rain heavy at times with a risk of gales again in the middle of the day. Some sunshine at times.
