On this Saturday morning, we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some showers and these are heavy in places. These are mainly across Lewis and Harris at the moment. Winds have been gusting 40 mph at South Uist range but under 20 mph for Stornoway site. Overnight low of 9.2C
Today – Another showery day today. These will be heavy at times. Possibly merging into some longer spells of rain. The showers will become more scattered later. In between some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds will gust to 40 mph this morning but easing as the day goes on to under 20 mph by late this evening. Max temp of 14C
Sunday – Overcast day with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers but for most, it will be drier. Winds will be mainly light for most of the day under 20 mph but gusting 30 mph by late evening.
Monday – Slight change to the expected weather for Monday. Winds are now not expected to be as strong gusting 40 mph. The rain which will be heavy at times with the heaviest being in the early hours of Monday morning.
Tuesday – Sunshine and showers these heavy at times and blustery winds gusting 40 mph.
