Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a band of rain moving across the islands. As I type this is has cleared the Uists and Barra and bring some rain to Lewis and Harris. Winds are still light under 10 mph. Highest temp today of 15.2C
Overnight – We are going to see bands of rain move across the islands. These will be heavy and persistent at times. It will also become windy. Winds will gust 20 to 40 mph. Some gusts in the early hours could reach 50 mph at times.
Morning – The heavy rain will start to slowly clear away. We will see rain and drizzle to end the morning with occasional heavier spells of rain. Some sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
Afternoon and evening – Overcast with some showers and some drizzle. A few sunny spells and winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Winds will be from the West and South West and temps of 11C to 15C
