Across the highland and Eilean Siar on Wednesday Stornoway was the sunniest with 4.6 hours of sunshine.
Today – We are going to see outbreaks of rain which will be heavy and at times persistent rain. Some sunny spells. It will stay windy throughout the day. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph and for the Uists and Barra gusting 40 mph. Some dry spells in between the showers and longer spells of rain. Temps of 10C to 14C
Friday – Heavy overnight rain becoming persistent at times. Staying showery throughout the day. Some sunny spells at times. Staying windy throughout with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph possibly reaching 50 mph.
Saturday – Sunshine and showers. These heavy at times. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph some gusts reaching 50 mph.
Sunday – Overnight heavy rain. Windy again gusting 30 to 40 mph. Sunshine and showers.
