On this Friday morning, we are seeing a windy start to the day. Winds have been gusting 40 to 55 mph. The main band of rain has moved across the islands but we are seeing a secondary band of rain moving across Lewis and Harris. Showers across the Uists and Barra. Overnight low of 11.7C

Today – It will stay windy throughout the day today gusting 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph. Once the heavy band of rain clears away this morning. We will see some decent spells of sunshine. In between some showers which will be heavy at times. Some clear skies after sunset. Winds will be from the South West and temps of 8C to 14C

Saturday – Sunshine and showers and winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Winds drop into the evening and very heavy and persistent rain will move across the islands into the evening.

Sunday – Further spells of heavy rain and at times persistent rain. Winds will ease for a time before increasing again later.

Monday – Breezy with overcast conditions and some spells of rain at times. Breezy.
