Overnight – We are going to see further showers. These will be heavy at times. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Under these clear skies, temps will drop to 8C in places. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph at times.
Morning – Sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. However further spells of showery rain which will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph
Afternoon and evening – After a mostly dry start with a few showers with some sunshine. However, the cloud will increase. We are also going to see some very heavy and persistent rain that will move across the islands. This rain will be slow moving. Uncertainty as to the timing of the rainfall but we are expecting the rain to move in from around 1500 to 1600 and will move across all areas after 1800. Winds will drop across Lewis and Harris under 20 mph by late evening however for the Uists and Barra we are still expecting this to gust 30 to 40 mph and some gusts reaching 50 mph at times.
Winds will be from the West and South West and temps of 8C to 14C

Sunday – Further spells of rain heavy and persistent at times. Slow moving. Windy for the Uists and Barra lighter winds for the Uists and Barra.
Monday – Overcast and showery. It will be milder and windy.
Tuesday – fine dry and warm with sunshine and brisk winds.
Long range – Hints of something warmer for next week. However a lot of uncertainty as yet but I will keep an eye on it.
