Today – Sunshine and showers for the morning and early afternoon. Some decent and prolonged showers. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. into the late afternoon and evening, we are going to. see rain move into all parts which will be heavy and persistent. This will be slow moving. Winds will drop for Lewis and Harris under 20 mph but stay gusting 30 to 40 mph and at times reaching 50 mph for the Uists and Barra. Temps of 8C to 15C
Sunday – More heavy and persistent rain for most of the islands. Some drier weather to start with. Overcast and lighter winds to start but winds increasing later gusting 40 to 50 mph.
Monday – Spells of rain that will be heavy at times. Overcast with blustery winds gusting 40 mph.
Tuesday – Sunshine and cloud. A few light showers and milder. lighter winds.
