Wednesdays forecast – Sunshine and cloud

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing some rain across the islands this evening with rain and drizzle. Some heavier spells of rain. Mainly overcast with some clear spells. Winds under 20 mph. Todays highest temp was 17.1C

Overnight – The rain will clear away for most places. We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph for the Uists and Barra.

Morning and afternoon – We are going to see some decent and prolonged sunshine. Dry for most the odd light shower cannot be ruled out. More cloud for Barra which will move further north as the day progresses. Feeling warm in the sunshine. Winds of 0 to 25 mph.

Evening – The best of the sunshine will be across Lewis and Harris but cloud will also increase here. Mostly overcast for the Uists and Barra. A chance of some light rain and drizzle here. Winds of 0 to 20 mph but gusting 30 mph for the Uists and Barra.

Winds will be from the North East but will shift to come from the South East as the day goes on. Temps of 7C to 16C
