Good afternoon and welcome to Wednesdays Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Wednesday afternoon we are seeing fine and dry conditions. The best of the sunshine for Lewis and Harris more cloud for the Uists and Barra. Winds are mainly light. Max temp of 15C

Western Isles forecast (UK to follow)
Thursday – High pressure dominates our weather on Thursday. We are going to see winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. It will be a mainly overcast day with some sunshine at times. It will feel warm. Some light rain and some spells of drizzle but most places are expected to stay dry. Winds will be from the South West and temps of 10C to 16C
Friday – Winds will ease across the islands. Mainly under 10 mph. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some light rain. The best of the sunshine will be during the afternoon. Feeling cooler than on Thursday.
Saturday – We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. It should be a dry day with lighter winds. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. High pressure dominates our weather. Winds will be from the North and North East so keeping things a little cooler.
Thursday a fine dry and warm day across the UK with more cloud in the North West of Scotland. Some patchy rain here. Friday and Saturday mainly fine dry. With plenty of sunshine and light winds. Rain moving in from the South East on Sunday. Some patchy rain in the North West of Scotland and light winds.
