Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing spells of heavy rain moving across the Western Isles. Some drier interludes. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. Todays highest temperature of 13.8C
Overnight – We are going to see some very heavy and persistent rain moving across the Western Isles. Some spells of lighter rain for a time. Winds will gust 30 to 40 mph and at times reaching 50 mph.
Moring – Further spells of heavy and at times persistent rain. With some spells of light rain. Overcast with a few occasional drier spells. We are going to see winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. At times some gusts will reach 60 mph this will be mainly along coastal areas.
Afternoon – Again further spells of heavy rain slowly moving Eastwards. This will gradually clear and behind it we will see a mixture of sunshine and showers. Temps will drop and it will feel much cooler. Winds of 30 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.
Evening – Winds will drop but the showers will continue and these will be heavy at times. Some sunshine and cloud. Feeling. cooler and winds of 10 to 20 mph at times gusting 30 mph.
Winds will be from the South Westerly but will switch to come in from the North West to end the day. Temps of 6C to 15C
