On this Tuesday morning we are seeing heavy and persistent rain moving across the islands. Winds are gusting 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph. Overnight low of 12.5C
Across the Highlands and Eilean Siar on Monday Harris Quidnish had the lowest maximum temperature of 13.4C
Today – Further heavy rain and it will be persistent at times. The rain will gradually start to ease into the. late afternoon and we will see sunshine and showers and these showers will be heavy at times. We are going to see the peak of the strong winds at the moment gusting 40 to 50 mph. Possibly some spots reaching 55 mph. Todays high of 14C but by this evening will drop into single figures,
Wednesday – Sunshine and showers. Some of these will be heavy at times. Light winds and temps will be down to 6C overnight into Wednesday
Thursday – Mainly dry sunshine and cloud with winds becoming more breezy. Still feeling chilly.
Friday – Brisk winds throughout the day. Sunshine and scattered showers. Feeling cool with a North West.
