On this Friday morning we are seeing overcast conditions with some showers. These are heavy in places. Winds are mainly under 20 mph but we had some gusts reaching 30 mph. Overnight low of 5.4C

Across the highlands and islands on Thursday Stornoway was the sunniest with 8.1 hours of sunshine.

Today – We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These wil be heazy at times. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. The showers will become less frequent as the day goes on. Some clear spells. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph.

Saturday – Another chilly start to the day. We are going to see sunshine and cloud. Brisk winds gusting 20 to 30 mph with a few scattered showers.

Sunday – Sunshine and cloud. Breezy with light winds. Cloud will increase later with winds increasing from the South and a few showers.

Monday – Sunshine and showers with some heavy overnight rain. Brisk winds gusting 20 to 35 mph.
