Good afternoon and welcome to Saturday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Saturday afternoon we are seeing mainly fine and dry conditions. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few isolated light showers but the vast majority of the islands are dry. Todays highest temp so far of 12.5C. Winds are under 20 mph.

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)
Sunday – We are going to see a chilly start to the day again. An overcast day with some sunshine at times. Winds will be light but they will increase as we go into the evening. Some most light rain will push in later into the Uists and Barra. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 5C to 13C
Monday – Overnight heavy rain as we go Sunday into Monday for the Uists and Barra. Rain across Lewis and Harris. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Into Monday itself winds under 30 mph. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and showers. Feeling milder with temps getting into the teens.
Tuesday – We are going to see some brisk winds. Some sunshine and showers. Some of these showers heavy at times. Still feeling fairly mild. Winds will be from the South West gusting 30 mph.
UK Forecast
Sunday a mainly fine and dry day across the UK with sunshine and cloud. Some rain in the South East. Rain arriving later in the West. Monday overnight heavy rain from the West but will fade away as the day goes on with sunshine and cloud. Mainly dry day with sunshine and a few scattered showers. Breezy in the North West of Scotland. Some rain in the South East of England.
