Monday’s forecast – Rain heavy at times with blustery winds.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are overcast conditions with brisk winds. Some light rain but most places are dry. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. Today’s high temp of 10.6C

Overnight – We are going to see an overcast evening with spells of rain which will become heavier as the night progresses. Winds are going to gust 30 to 40 mph. Some gusts for the Uists and Barra could reach 50 mph for a time.

Morning – Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Gradually the heaviest of the rain will clear away by the end of the morning. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon – The heaviest of the rain will clear away. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy at times. There is a chance some of these showers could merge into some longer spells of rain for a time. Winds will ease. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Evening – Any showers will become more scattered. Some of them will be heavy at times. Some decent and prolonged early evening sunshine before sunset. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 7C to 15C
