Tuesday – A dry start with some sunshine and variable amounts of cloud. Winds under 20 mph but they will increase into the evening. A few scattered showers. Winds gusting 40 mph by the end of the day. A chilly start but milder in the evening. Temps of 5C to 14C
Wednesday – Further heavy and persistent spells of rain during the day. It will be overcast with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Some sunshine at times in the early evening. Staying on the mild side with temps creeping into the teens. Temps of 8C to 15C
Thursday – Sunshine and showers as winds shift to come in from the North West. A chilly day. Temps struggling to get into the teens. Winds gusting 20 to 25 mph. Temps of 7C to 13C
Friday – Sunshine and showers with further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. Temps of 6C to 12C
Long range – Looks like being an unsettled weekend with strong winds gusting 40 to 50 mph further spells of rain. Turning cooler.
