Tuesday’s forecast – A few scattered showers but mainly dry.

Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a few scattered showers around. Mainly dry a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Today’s high of 13.2C and winds this evening under 20 mph.

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Chilly with temps getting down to 5C. A few showers around some of them heavy at times but well scattered. Winds of 0 to 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers occasionally heavy. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. but milder than of late.

Evening – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. It should be dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds increasing gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West but coming from the South East later. Temps of 5C to 14C

Wednesday – Heavy and at times persistent rain. Showery late with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph in the early hours gusting 50 mph.

Friday – Sunshine and showers with light winds and chilly again.
