On this Friday morning, we are seeing a wet start to the day with rain across most of the Western Isles. The rain is heavy in spots. The overnight low of 9.2C. Winds under 20 mph.
Across the Highlands and Islands on Thursday Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 11.9C and Stornoway had the lowest of minimum temperature of 3.6C
Today – We are going to see outbreaks of rain which will be heavy. It will turn showery again later. Some sunny spells. It will stay windy today with winds gusting 20 to 30 mph.
Saturday – Overcast day and we are going to see spells of rain. This will be heavy and persistent especially across Lewis and Harris into the evening. Winds under 20 mph
Sunday – Spells of heavy and persistent rain. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph. Becoming drier later with some sunny spells.
Monday – Sunshine and showers, It will be breezy. Feeling cooler after a mild winter.
