Good evening Western isles on this Friday evening we are seeing winds gusting 30/40 mph. Its mainly dry but a few isolated showers. Plenty of cloud with some clear spells.
Overnight – a dry start to the night but rain will move in. The rain will become heavy and at times persistent. Especially across the Uists and Barra. Winds gusting 20/30 mph.
Morning and afternoon – cloud dominating with some sunny spells. Rain and drizzle that at times will be heavy. Winds of 10/25 mph gusting 30 mph.
Evening – heavy and persistent rain will sweep across the Western Isles. It will be overcast with occasional sunny spells. Winds of 10/30 mph.
Winds will be from the South and South West and then coming from the North West later. Temps of 9C to 12C
