On this Saturday morning we are seeing rain across the Uists and Barra and it heavy in places. Drier across Lewis and Harris with some drizzle here with plenty of cloud. Overnight low of 9.4C
Today – An overcast start to the day with spells of light rain and drizzle merging into some longer spells of rain. The rain will become heavier in the evening. Occasional sunny spells but most places staying cloudy. Winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph into the evening.
Sunday – Spells of heavy and persistent rain. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph at times reaching 50 mph. Becoming drier later with some sunny spells. Before more organised bands of heavy rain move in during the late evening. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.
Monday – Sunshine and scattered showers, It will be breezy. But most places fine dry and sunny.
Tuesday – Another day of sunshine and showers. A chilly start and some of these showers heavy at times.
