Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing rain move across the Western Isles. This rain is heavy and persistent in spots. Winds are mainly under 20 mph. Today’s high of 11.7C at midnight.
Overnight – We are going to see further bands of heavy rain moving across the Western Isles this will become persistent at times. Some dry spells the cloud will dominate. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and some gusts could reach 50 mph for the Uists and Barra.
Morning and afternoon – Further rounds of rain which will be heavy and at times persistent but we will see increasing amounts of dry spells with the cloud dominating. These will increase into the afternoon. A few sunny spells but these will be few and far between. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
Evening – Some more heavy rain will move across parts of the Western Isles but will not be as wide spread as earlier rain. With dry and overcast conditions. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
