Good morning Western Isles this is your morning brief

On this Wednesday morning, we are seeing showers moving across the Western Isles. Some of these are heavy in places. Winds are gusting 30 to 40 mph. Overcast with some clear skies.

Across the highlands and islands on Tuesday Stornoway was the sunniest with 2.7 hours of sunshine

Today – Sunshine and showers. Some of these heavy and at times merging into some longer spells of rain. Some decent spells of sunshine. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph but easing under 20 mph later today.

Thursday – A chilly start to the day. We are going to see further showers with some longer spells of rain. Some sunshine at times. Some sunshine at times.

Friday – Again sunshine and showers with brisk winds.

Saturday – A mainly overcast day with brisk winds. Showery again.
