On this Thursday morning, we are seeing a cold start to the day with some frost and ice in patches. The overnight low of 4.6C at Stornoway but colder elsewhere. We are seeing showers with some longer spells of rain which are heavy in places. Winds under 10 mph. Some clear skies but mainly overcast.
Today – We are going to see rain and showers these heavy at times. Hail and thunder could be possible at times in some more of the intense showers. In between some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds under 20 mph but gusting 30 to 40 mph later for the Uists and Barra.
Friday – Sunshine and showers. Heavy at times hail and thunder mixed in. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. A cold start to the day.
Saturday – A mainly overcast day with brisk winds. Showery again.
Sunday – Overcast with rain at times. Heavy rain later. Brisk winds. A colder day.
