Good morning Western Isles this is your morning brief
On this Saturday morning we are seeing showers moving across the Western Isles and are heavy in places. We are seeing brisk winds with some clear skies and plenty of cloud. Drier across the Uists and Barra. Overnight low of 9.3C. Winds have been gusting 40 mph.
Across the Highlands and islands on Friday Stornoway was the sunniest with 5.4 hours of sunshine.
Today – Another showery day and these will be heavy at times and will merge into some longer spells of rain. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph at times.
Sunday – Overcast with light rain and winds ease down. However rain will move in later in the evening which will become heavy at times.
Monday – Overnight heavy rain with sunshine and showers during Monday. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.
Tuesday – A fine dry and sunny day with light winds.
