Good evening and welcome to Sunday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
We are seeing rain across the Uists and Barra this is heavy in places. The rain has arrived a little earlier than expected. Elsewhere rain and some drizzle. Its mainly overcast with some sunny spells. The high of 10.4C and winds under 20 mph.

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)
Monday – Heavy overnight rain as we go into Monday. The rain will spread into all parts. The heavy rain will clear away during the day on Monday. We are then going to see a day of sunshine and showers with brisk winds. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph. Winds will be from the North West. Temps of 5C to 13C
Tuesday – A few overnight scattered showers and then and brisk winds from the North East. Mainly fine and dry for Tuesday day time. With some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Feeling chilly in the brisk wind. High pressure blocks the Atlantic off. Temps of 6C to 13C
Wednesday – High pressure dominates. We are going to see a fine and dry day with wall to wall sunshine by day. Clear skies by night. A risk of some frost and ice. Winds from the East and temps of 3C to 12C
Monday rain moving across the UK behind it sunshine and showers. Fine dry and sunny with chilly wind for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Rain for England and Wales. Wednesday mainly fine and dry with light winds. A few scattered showers.
