Good afternoon and welcome to Monday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Monday afternoon we are seeing showers moving across the Islands. Which are heavy in places. In between we are seeing some decent spells of sunshine. Todays high of 11.3C so far. Winds have been gusting 40 mph.

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)
Tuesday – A fine and mostly dry. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds will be from the North East around 20 to 30 mph. Temps of 9C to 13C and high pressure dominates with low pressure to the South west of the UK.
Wednesday – A fine and dry day with wall to wall sunshine. Easterly winds gusting 20 mph. It will feel chilly with risk of some frost and ice during the early hours. Winds will be from the East. Temps of 4C to 13C. High pressure dominates to our North
Thursday – Another fine and dry day. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. More cloud then on Wednesday. Mainly fine and dry the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the East and temps of 5C to 12C
High pressure still dominates but there a deep area of low pressure near iceland and its front will stay out in the Atlantic.
UK forecast
Scotland and the West Coast of the UK will see the best of the weather on Tuesday. Rain and wind for most of England and parts of Wales. Wednesday mainly becoming fine and dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud a few s scattered showers. Thursday mainly fine and dry with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers.
