On this Tuesday morning, we are seeing a few showers across Lewis and Harris which are heavy in places. Drier for the Uists and Barra with a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds gusting 40 mph. Overnight low of 10.4C

Across the Highland and Islands on Monday Stornoway was the sunnies with 3.9 hours of sunshine.

Today – A few scattered showers today. Some of these heavy at times. But mainly fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. Prolonged sunshine in places. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Wednesday – Some decent and prolonged sunshine. Wall to wall sunshine for many. Variable amount of cloud. A chilly start to the day. Winds gusting 30 mph but under 10 mph by the end of the day.

Thursday and Friday – Fine and dry with plenty of cloud. Brisk winds with some sunshine and feeling chilly.
