Good afternoon and welcome to Tuesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Tuesday afternoon we are seeing a mainly fine and dry day. A mixture of sunshine and cloud with a few light showers. Winds been gusting 30 to 40 mph. Today’s high so far of 11.6C

Western Isles forecast – (UK forecast to follow)
Wednesday – High pressure dominates our weather across the Western Isles with the high 1037 sitting North of us. We are going to see a fine and dry day with sunshine. Wall to wall sunshine for many with some cloud. It will be a chilly start to the day and evening. Winds gusting to 35 mph but easing later. Winds from the East and temps of 4C to 12C
Thursday – High pressure dominates our weather. More cloud then on Wednesday. A fine dry day with sunshine and cloud. Winds under 20 mph from the East. Temps of 4C to 13C.
Friday – a fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine. Prolonged sunshine for most. Winds will be mainly light with variable amounts of cloud. Winds will be from the North East. Temps of 5C to 12C
Wednesday a mainly fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Best of the sunshine in the West with a few scattered showers. Thursday again mainly fine and dry with sunshine and a couple of scattered showers. Some rain for England on Friday but again mainly fine and dry with sunshine and cloud.
