How wet was it in the Western Isles?
Stornoway Airport Met Office site record 10 mm on the 3rd October. South Uist range was offline.
SEPA rain gauges 3rd October
Creed bridge – 13.4 mm
Laxdale (Harris) – 9mm
Loch Tormsad – 6.2 mm
Mill Croft – 9.2 mm
The heaviest of the rainfall fell away from the Western Isles. With other days recording more rainfall in the last month then on that date.
