Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing rain moving across the Western Isles. Heaviest for the Uists, Barra and Harris. Lighter for Lewis. So far the highest rainfall totals have been out of the Met Office warning area. Winds under 20 mph. Today’s high of 10.1C

Overnight – We are going to see further spells of rain which will be heavy and at times persistent. We are going to see winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Some drier slots but most places are going to see rain. Winds will increase gusting 30 to 40 mph. Strongest for the Uists and Barra.
Morning and afternoon – Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Some drier spells for a time and some light rain. The cloud dominates. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.
Evening – Overcast and gradually becoming drier. But rain over Lewis mainly light rain and drizzle. winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Winds will be from the South East and North East. Temps of 7C to 13C
