On this Tuesday morning, we are seeing rain across the Western Isles. This rain is heavy in places. Overnight the heaviest rain was for the Uists with over 40 mm of rain. Winds gusting 30 mph and an overnight low of 10.6C
Reminder we are under a Met Office warning for rain until 0900 this morning. Plus a Scottish Environment Protection Agency flood alert.
Today – Further spells of rain. Heavy at times and some persistent spells. We are going to see some showery conditions later with some drier spells and the odd sunny spell with further spells of rain later. Winds gusting to 30 mph. Todays high off 11C
Wednesday – Overcast with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. At times reaching 50 mph for the Uists and Barra. Showers at times with some heavy rain at times. The cloud dominating.
Thursday – Sunshine and cloud with light winds. A few scattered showers. Chilly start.
Friday – Sunshine and showers with winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Some heavy rain in the early morning.
