Good afternoon all just a quick extra update for you. Covering the Met Office warning for Northern Scotland and latest on weather conditions in the Western Isles.
A Met Office yellow weather warning has been issued this covers Northern parts of Scotland with up to 40 mm of rain falling.

For us in the Western Isles the Scottish Environment Protection Agency flood alert has been updated.

Winds have been gusting 40 to 50 mph and the highest wind speed so far has been 50 mph.
