Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing mainly fine and dry conditions. A mixture of clear skies and cloud with some patchy mainly light rain. Todays high of 10C and winds this evening under 20 mph.
Overnight – We are going to see a band of rain moving across the Western Isles. This will be heavy and persistent at times. Mainly overcast with some dry spells and a few clear skies. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph.
Morning and afternoon – We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and showers. These showers heavy at times. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph for the Uists and Barra.
Evening – Further showers again some of these heavy at times. Some clear spells and cloud. Before further heavy rain moves in as we go overnight into Friday. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
