Across the Highlands and island on Friday South Uist was the wettest with 11.8 mm of rain and Stornoway Airport was the sunniest with 2.6 hours of sunshine.
Today – We are going to see a windy day. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. The odd 60 mph gust cannot be ruled out. We are going to see squally showers these heavy and the odd rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out. In between some decent sunshine in between. Today’s high of 11C
Sunday – Sunshine and showers with some heavy spells of rain at times. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.
Monday – Some overnight rain. Becoming fine and dry later with plenty of sunshine. Feeling chilly and breezy.
Tuesday – Overcast day with some showers. Heavy rain at times later. Brisk winds.
